Radiation Oncologists, P.C. Meet the Staff

Mark Schray M.D.

Mark Schray M.D., was born the youngest of four children and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended Central Catholic High School, Oregon State University and subsequently University of Oregon Medical School back in Portland (now OHSU). Post graduate training in Radiation Oncology was at Stanford University Medical Center. Subsequently, he joined the staff at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for six years from 1983-1989. During this time, he married his wife Ann (also a Portland native) and with plans for a family, elected to leave the world of academic medicine and return home to join Radiation Oncologists P.C. They have three children, Jason, Jessica and Alexis and live in NW Portland. He is an enthusiastic golfer during the limited free time allowed by a young family and busy practice. Professional interests are prostate, gynecologic and breast cancer as well as soft tissue sarcomas and their management with both external radiation treatment techniques and brachytherapy ( internal radiation treatment with radioactive materials)
